What Will Actually Stop the Parties — Not Just Quiet Them Down Neighbors — we’ve all been frustrated. The calls, the noise, the late nights. But the truth is simple: the deputies can’t shut down the property. They can only ask people to lower the volume. Noise ordinances or more patrols won’t stop hundreds of people from showing up again next weekend. Here’s what will actually work — and what we all need to stay focused on. • 1. Deputies can’t shut down the property. They can tell people to turn the music down or move cars, but they can’t end the party or stop the next one. They have no authority to close a private residence. • 2. Every call still matters. Each complaint, photo, or video builds the official record that shows this is a pattern — not a one-time event. Without those records, nothing can move forward. • 3. The only real solution is a nuisance injunction. The District Attorney and County Judge can declare the property a public nuisance under Texas law. Then the Sheriff can legally shut it down — not just quiet it for the night. • 4. What doesn’t work: New noise ordinances or more patrols. They only quiet the speakers. The parties will keep happening unless the property itself is stopped from being used this way. • 5. What we must do together: Keep calling every time. Keep videos and photos. Support meetings with the Judge, DA, and Sheriff. Once they see the full pattern, they can act — and end it for good. This isn’t about making noise complaints — it’s about proving a long-term nuisance. Every report adds another piece of proof. The only way to protect our neighborhood is through the County Attorney, Judge, and Sheriff working together under Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code Chapter 125.
